Women's Soccer Players Honored

Chestnut Hill, MA - Three Boston College women's soccer players received honors from TopDrawerSoccer as announced today by the website http://www.topdrawersoccer.com.
Sophomore goalkeeper Jillian Mastroianni was named to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Season as a third team selection. Mastroianni is coming off an excellent ACC Tournament performance where she had three saves in a shootout and notched 11 saves in a 1-0 loss to UNC. Mastroianni has 11 shutouts this season and was named to the All-ACC first team.
Midfielder Kristen Mewis and forward Victoria DiMartino earned a spot on the TopDrawerSoccer All-Freshman first team. Both players were named to the All-ACC freshman team, while DiMartino also picked up ACC Freshman of the Year honors.
Mewis, a native of Hanson, MA, has also displayed team play as she has played three different positions in her first season. Mewis has notched five goals and six assists for 16 points.
DiMartino, a native of Massapequa, New York, leads the Eagles in scoring with 14 goals and four assists for 32 total points. She also leads the team in shots taken (84) and game-winning goals (6).
