Women's Tennis Competes At Brown Invitational

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Boston College women's tennis team continued their solid start to their 2009-10 season this past weekend at the three-day Brown Invitational. The Eagles posted an 11-6 singles record during the three day span, and a 4-1 doubles record. The tournament featured four other teams that including the host school Brown University, Boston University, Auburn and Rutgers University.
Junior Katharine Attwell led Boston College going 4-0 on the weekend in singles action. Freshman Olga Khmylev saw her first collegiate action in this weekend's tournament, and went 2-2 in singles play.
The doubles team of Brittany Delaney and Attwell continue their great play in the fall season as they went undefeated for the weekend.
Boston College will be back in action on October 10 as it will travel to Flushing Meadows, NY to play in the three-day United States Tennis Association Invitational
