Men's Ski Team Has Solid Showing in Waterville

The Boston College men's ski team placed fourth at the Plymouth State Carnival in Waterville Valley, NH. The Eagles are now fourth in the conference standings, 11 points from third place.
On Saturday, junior John Ramer led the team with a career best fourth place finish. BC also had four athletes finish in the Top 30 of the race - Chris Burgart (16th), Willie Flad (22nd - a career best finish), Dylan Roberts (28th) and Dario Baldoni (29th). The team missed third by four hundredths of a second behind UMass.
In Sunday's Giant Slalom, the team held strong to finish fourth again. Freshman David Loftus grabbed seventh place finish, while John Ramer, who placed third in his first run, pulled a tremendous recovery move to preserve a 16th place finish. Hugh Kirkpatrick (20) and Chris Burgart (26) also place in the Top 30.
