Women's Tennis Drops Season Opener to Yale 4-3

New Haven, Conn. - Women's tennis lost their season opening match to the Yale University Bulldogs over the weekend 4-3.
Seniors Lauren Cash and Alina Sullivan won their singles matches from the No. 2 and No. 6 positions respectively. Both women beat their opponents in straight sets, Cash defeated Yale's Jessica Rhee 6-0, 6-2 and Sullivan defeated Lilian Nguyen 6-2, 6-2.
Cash also won her doubles match, playing with partner Dasha Cherkasov in the No. 1 doubles position. They defeated the Bulldog pairing of Janet Kim and Victoria Brook 8-3.
Women's tennis opens their home schedule on Saturday January 31 at 1 p.m.
