Women's Ski Team Earns Second Place Finish

The women's ski team placed second at the UConn Carnival over this past weekend at Mt. Cranmore in New Hampshire. Despite the low temperatures, the women used the depth of the team to remain in the running after day one.
The team was led by a by sophomore Danielle Keogh who notched a career-best finish in sixth place. She was followed close by freshman standout Laura Martini, who placed eight and team captain Courtney Willson with a ninth place finish. Senior Ashley Lacavallla picked up a 15th place finish while sophomore Molly Testwuide placed 21st a career-best.
On Saturday the weather remained unchanged but the Eagles were able to pick up second place in the competition. Courtney Willson had a team-high finish of sixth place, while junior Perrie Finsand finished a close two tenths of a second back to nab seventh place.
Erica Reilly had a season best eight place finish as Ashley Lacavalla was 12th and Danielle Keogh placed 14th. Sophomore Emily Moloney earned a career-best 29th place in the race.
