Women's Skiing Season Starts off Strong

BC's women's ski team had an excellent start to their season this past weekend at the Colby Sawyer Carnival on January 9th and 10th. With near perfect snow conditions and a very fast set, the women finished in 2nd place on Friday. The team was led by seniors Ashley La Cavalla and Courtney Willson , finishing 12th and 13th, and freshman Laura Martini , finishing 14th. Also finishing in the top 30 were sophomore Erica Reilly , junior Perrie Finsand and sophomore Molly Testwuide .

On Saturday, the team placed a close 4th, led again by Lacavalla in 8th place and Martini in 12th. Wilson and Reilly also had top 30 finishes. BC left the weekend with a good hold of second place in the league behind a strong Colby Sawyer team.
