Volleyball Defeats Stony Brook in Five Sets

KINGSTON, R.I. - After falling behind to Stony Brook two sets to one, Boston College rallied for victories in the fourth and fifth sets to defeat the Seawolves in the Ram Classic Invitational at Keaney Gymnasium.
The Eagles improved to 3-2 on the season, while Stony Brook fell to 2-3.
BC went on an 11-0 run to start the deciding fifth set, and went on to win 15-6. For Coach Andrea Leonard and the Eagles, it was their 10th win in the last 11 matches that have gone to a fifth and deciding set.
Jordan Meredith recorded a season-high 15 kills to lead the Eagles' attack. Fellow freshman Brennan Clark recorded a season-high 27 digs and Dani Moskitis had 14 assists for BC.
The Eagles will take on host Rhode Island on Saturday at 3 pm in the team's final match of the round-robin tournament at Keaney Gymnasium.
