Men's Tennis Competes at ITA Nationals

The Boston College men's tennis team opened its 2008-2009 season at the USTA Invitational in New York. Junior Thomas Nolan and partner Erik Kreutzer dominated the Doubles II division winning all four of their matches (9-8) (8-3) (9-8).
Nolan was also dominant in the Singles II division winning two of his three matches.
Two of BC's three freshman also made the trip to New York to compete in their first collegiate matches. Akash Muppidi competed in the Doubles III with sophomore Brian Locklear and in Singles V, winning two matches in each.
Men's tennis continues its fall campaign at the ITA Northeast Regionals in West Haven, Conn, October 16-21.
