No. 12 Women's Soccer Prepares For Harvard

Chestnut Hill, MA - The Boston College women's soccer team is coming off a 1-0 victory over Central Connecticut State last Sunday. Sophomore Brooke Knowlton, who was named to the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week on Tuesday, scored the game-winning goal to help the Eagles improve to 6-1-0 on the season.
Next Up:
Boston College will host Harvard on Friday, September 19 at 4 p.m. at the Newton Soccer Field. The Eagles have won the last three matches against Harvard. Last season, BC defeated the Crimson, 2-1, behind goals from Brooke Knowlton and Chelsea Regan.

Brooke Knowlton and Julia Bouchelle lead the Eagles in game-winning goals with two apiece ... Knowlton leads the Eagles in scoring with five goals, one assist for six points. She is in the midst of a three-game goal scoring streak (one goal vs. Toledo, two goals vs. Stony Brook, one goal vs. CCSU) ... Bouchelle leads all BC freshmen in scoring with three goals for six points. Right behind Bouchelle are fellow rookies - Alaina Beyar and Stephanie Wirth - each with two goals and one assist for five points ... The Eagles are currently 4-0-0 at home and 2-1 on the road ... BC is currently ranked No. 12 in the NSCAA National poll and No. 14 in the Soccer Buzz poll. The Eagles are No. 12 in the TopDrawerSoccer poll and No. 10 in the Soccer America poll this week ... Following the women's game vs. Harvard, BC men's soccer will host North Carolina at 7 p.m.
