Chestnut Hill, MA - The women's basketball team took a day together to enjoy the beautiful New England weather. The team - including newcomers Jasmine Gill and Mia Nickson - decided to head to the water and learn how to row.
The Boston College assistant rowing coach Wendy Wilbur gave a couple of quick lessons to the players before the boats hit the water. The players were split into two teams and on two boats for the day. The players were given time to test out the new techniques that Coach Wilbur had reviewed. The day ended with relay races where the players realized they could not win without relying on their teammates. It was the first of many team building exercises in which new head Coach Sylvia Crawley has planned for the girls.
