Season tickets for the 2008-09 Women’s Basketball season are now on sale through the Boston College ticket office. Reserve your seat for all the action this year for just $98.
The 2008-09 schedule is guaranteed to bring some exciting action to Conte Forum. The Eagles open the season at home against St. Francis (PA) on November 14 and will host Notre Dame later in the month. January will mark the beginning of Boston College’s fourth season of ACC action. January 11 against Virginia Tech is the ACC home opener for the Eagles. BC will also host Florida State, NC State, Miami, Clemson, and the nationally ranked Maryland Terrapins and North Carolina Tar Heels.
The Eagles will be led by first year head coach Sylvia Crawley. The upcoming season promises to be a thrilling one. Boston College returns 11 players, including five starters from last season’s team that finished 21-12 and advanced to the second round of the WNIT. The Eagles also return the ACC Rookie of the Year – Stefanie Murphy – and 6-foot-6 center Carolyn Swords, who also earned a spot on the ACC All-Freshman team.
