Three-Way Meet With New Hampshire/Providence

Ritchie Leads Men's Cross Country In Opening Race

DURHAM, N.H. - Boston College senior Timothy Ritchie led the men's cross country team with a time of 25:56 for a seventh place finish in a meet with New Hampshire, Providence, and Georgia College on August 30. The Eagles finished third with 68 points.
Providence won the meet with 23 points while New Hampshire's 36 points were good enough for second. Georgia College came in fourth with 130 points.
Senior David Emerson crossed the finish line in 26:26 to take 12th place. Sophomores Ryan Kiracofe and Michael Keebler finished 14th and 15th, respectively, with times of 26:33 and 26:50.
Senior Patrick Viklund finished with a time of 27:07 which put him in 20th and classmate James LaGreca finished 23rd with a time of 27:19.
BC will now prepare for the Iona Meet of Champions which will be held on September 20 in New York City.
