Women's Soccer Selected No. 14 In NSCAA Preseason Poll

Chestnut Hill, MA - The Boston College women's soccer team earned a No. 14 ranking in the preseason NSCAA/adidas poll released by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) this week. Boston College is one of five teams from the ACC ranked in the Top 25. USC earned the No. 1 ranking while No. 2 went to UCLA. The top five spots are rounded off by the ACC's North Carolina, Florida State and Notre Dame of the Big East.
Boston College finished the 2007 season at 11-5-4 and advanced to its fifth consecutive NCAA berth. The Eagles placed 24th in the final 2007 NSCAA poll. The team was recently ranked fourth in the 2008 ACC poll.
