CHESTNUT HILL, MA - Boston College women's soccer head coach Alison Kulik announced the addition of five players for the 2008 season. The program has received commitments from Alaina Beyar, Julia Bouchelle, Jillian Mastroianni, Alyssa Pember and Michelle Spacciapolli.
"Our staff believes this is one of the most talented classes in the country. All five have either participated in national camp or are presently on the national team. Their international experience playing with and against the best players in the world in their age group should assist them in making a smooth transition into our program and into the ACC,'' said Kulik, of the 2008 incoming class. "Each player has something unique to their game which will enhance our team's level of play. I am equally impressed as to how connected this group is already to our present BC team. They have been on campus and watched us play quite a bit, which I think has enabled them to get a feel of the spirit and commitment of our program.''

"Bouchelle is the type of player that can be quiet for a period of time and then pull out the game changing play of the match. Technically she is superior and her final pass is excellent. In my opinion, she is the player on her club team that pulls all the strings and is the catalyst to their national success. We will be looking for her to make an immediate impact to our final third play, " said Kulik.
