Head Coach Earns Top Coaching Status

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College field hockey Head Coach Ainslee Lamb earned USA Field Hockey's Level III coaching accreditation, which is the highest coaching level that can be obtained USFHA.
Lamb was invited to the Inaugural Level III Program in Palm Springs, Calif., with 17 other high-level international and NCAA coaches. The program is part of the USFHA's coaching accreditation which includes four course levels beginning with the development and carrying through to the elite play.
To add to her accomplishments, Lamb was also named an assistant coach for the United Stats Under-19 team. The team will travel to Chili this spring for tournament play.
Lamb comes off her third season at the Heights. She led the team to its seventh consecutive winning record and in 2006, the Eagles received their highest rank ever at the fourth spot in the country. Four of Lamb's players have earned All-American honors, nine have been named to the All-Northeast Regional All-American team and two garnered All-ACC honors twice since BC joined the conference in 2005.
