Boston College Captures Third Place at Northeastern Fencing Conference

Despite a disappointing loss to Sacred Heart, Women's Fencing took third place in the Northeast Fencing Conference, defeating Wellesley, Tufts, UMass, BU and UNH to finish the season 9-3 in the conference and 13-10 overall.
Women's foil put in an amazing performance on Saturday, six foilists combined for a 48 - 3 record with Michelle Pintea posting an 11-0 record, Christine Cook 9-0, and Emily Harper and Samantha Pirk each 8-0.
Both teams travel to Dartmouth College next Sunday to compete in the New England Championships.
