CHESTNUT HILL, MA - Boston College (17-7, 5-4) is coming off a tough loss to NC State on February 10 in Raleigh, NC. The Eagles have lost two consecutive ACC games and will now battle No. 5 Maryland tonight at the Comcast Center in College Park, MD. Maryland had five players in double-figures - Kristi Toliver (26 points), Crystale Langhorne (18 points), Laura Harper (14 points), Marah Strickland (12 points) and Marissa Coleman (10 points).

Picco has 62 career three's, which places her 13th on the Eagles all-time list for three-pointers made ... Freshman Carolyn Swords is currently shooting 63.9 percent (140-for-219) from the floor. The record is 58.7 % set by Kathrin Ress in the 2003-04 season ... Freshman Jaclyn Thoman leads the Eagles with 86 assists. She is currently sixth in the ACC in assists and the top freshman in the category with a 3.74 average per game ... Freshman LaShaunda Pratt played 10 minutes in front of friends and family in her home state of North Carolina on Sunday at NC State. The guard had two points, a career-high three rebounds and a steal ... The Eagles are currently in the Top 15 in three categories in the NCAA Women's National Rankings. Boston College is ranked sixth in the nation in team assists per game (18.1), 10th in rebounding margin (+9.1) and 13th in FG% (46.3).
Think Pink
On Monday, February 18 the Eagles will celebrate their "Think Pink" event when BC hosts Georgia Tech at Conte Forum (7 p.m.). All fans wearing pink to the game on Monday will receive free admission to the game. The game can be seen on NESN at 7 p.m.
