Bob Dirks Named ECAC All-Star

Chestnut Hill, Mass - Boston College senior forward Bob Dirks (Malden, Netherlands) has been named to the ECAC Division I All-Star Field Hockey roster, according to an announcement by league officials this afternoon.
Dirks, BC's career leading goal scorer, was one of four forwards named to the 2008 squad. This is the second ECAC All-Star honor for Dirks, she was named to the 2007 All-Star team as well.
Other 2008 accolades for Dirks include, All-ACC and All-ACC Tournament team honors, All-Northeast Region First Team and First Team All-American honors as well.
Dirks capped off her senior season at the Heights with 19 goals and 6 assists for 43 points, bringing her career totals to 62 goals and 150 points in her four years at the Heights.
