Men's Track & Field Opens Season At Husky Carnival

BOSTON, Mass. - Sophomore Mark Domaracki recorded a time of 1:04.85 to finish third in the 500m dash as the Boston College men's track and field team opened its 2008-09 indoor season on December 6 at the Husky Winter Carnival at Northeastern.
Junior Brendan Gaffney finished in fifth behind Domaracki in the event, crossing the line in 1:06.15. Sophomore Tyler Archer was on his heels with a time of 1:06.75 which put him in seventh.
Sophomore Conor Shelly placed eighth in the high jump by clearing 1.88m. Freshman Matt Adetula also took eighth in the triple jump by recording a mark of 12.69m.
The men are back in action at the Dartmouth Relays beginning on January 9 in Hanover, N.H.
