Tennis Signs Two Recruits for Freshman Class of 2009

Chestnut Hill, MA - The Boston College Women's Team signed two players to National Letter of Intents in late November.
Local product Alexandra Kelleher from Worcester, Mass. and Olga Khmylev from Williamsville N.Y. will be joining the Eagles in the fall of 2009. According to the Tennis Recruiting Network Kelleher and Khmylev are both rated as five star recruits.
Kelleher, a senior at Worcester Academy is currently ranked 51st in the country and 2nd in the state.
Khmylev, a senior at Williamsville East High School is currently ranked 42nd in the country and 2nd in the state of New York. She is the daughter of former Buffalo Sabres forward Yuri Khmylev.
"Both Alex and Olga will bring energy, enthusiasm and talent to our team," said Boston College head women's tennis coach Nigel Bentley. "They work very hard on the tennis court and in the classroom. They are terrific players and we are very happy they choose to come to Boston College and play in the ACC. We are thrilled they will be joining our team next year."
