Seven Women's Soccer Players Named To NEWISA

Chestnut Hill, MA - Seven Boston College women soccer players were named to the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Associations (NEWISA) All-New England Division 1 team as announced today.

Senior defender Caroline Walden, sophomore midfielder Julia Bouchelle and sophomore forwards Brooke Knowlton and Amy Caldwell were all named to the first team.

Freshman goalkeeper Jillian Mastroianni, sophomore midfielder Kelly Henderson and sophomore midfielder Chelsea Regan were all named to the second team.

Boston College finished the season at 15-6-2 and advanced to the round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament. The Eagles were ranked ninth in the final Soccer Buzz Poll and placed 11th in the NSCAA's last poll.
