
Schaus and Stack Earn Hockey East Honors

Chestnut Hill, MA - Boston College women's ice hockey players Kelli Stack and Molly Schaus were named Hockey East Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week according to an announcement made by the league on Monday.
Stack recorded four points (1g,3a) on the weekend in games against Princeton and Northeastern. Stack assisted on all three Eagles goals in Friday's game against the Tigers and tallied the game winner in Sunday's conference contest against the Huskies.
Schaus, the reigning Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week retained her title by stopping 52 shots in two games including all 27 in a shutout victory over Northeastern.
BC resumes Hockey East play on Friday November 5 at 7 p.m., traveling to Connecticut to take on the UConn Huskies.
