
Men's Swimming and Diving Defeats Keene State, 146-139

The Boston College men's swimming and diving team edged Keene State 146-139 on Sunday afternoon at the Flynn Recreation Complex Pool. The Eagles took first place in nine events, and were led by Andrew Brown, who won 18 points with two wins.
With the win, the Eagles improved to 5-4 in dual meets this season.
Brown recorded wins in both the 100 (56.03) and 200 (2:02.98) backstroke to lead BC in points. He was also a member of the winning 200 medley relay team (1:39.27), joining Robert Swaninger, Timothy Corrigan and Dominick Boccio for the win.
The Eagles also received wins from John Maloy in the 1000 freestyle (9:39.43), C. Peter Ferguson in the 200 freestyle (1:48.07), Timothy Corrigan in the 200 butterfly (2:02.04), Alex Spaeth in the 50 freestyle (22.88), and Dominick Boccio in the 100 freestyle (49.32).
Robert Swaninger also recorded a win for BC, topping his previous season best time in the 100 breaststroke with a 1:01.68 finish.
Next up for the Eagles will be the Terrier Invitational at Boston University, beginning on Nov. 21.
