The Boston College Eagles are in the second game of a two-game tournament against James Madison. Boston College defeated TCU in the first game on Thursday afternoon.
The Eagles are down at the half 34-27 against James Madison.
Boston College went down quickly, 4-0 and sophomore Stefanie Murphy picked up two quick fouls. The Eagles tied the game at 9-9 on a jumper by Corey Rusin at 12:31 in the game.
The Eagles were in foul trouble through the half as Carolyn Swords picked up her third foul at the six minute mark.
BC fell behind by 10 points, 28-18 with 5:05 to play. Lauren Whitehurst's jumper in the lane cut the deficit, 28-20.
A three pointer by Picco at 3:18 against cut into the lead 33-25. Ayla Brown hit a lay-up at the buzzer and BC was down 34-37 at the half.
Carolyn Swords leads the Eagles with seven points and eight rebounds, while Mickel Picco has six points. JMU's Dawn Evans has 13 points.
