
Schaus Named Pure Hockey Defensive Player of the Week

Chestnut Hill, MA - Boston College women's ice hockey goaltender Molly Schaus earned Hockey East Pure Hockey Defensive Player of the Week according to an announcement by Hockey East released Monday afternoon.
Schaus went 1-1 in a pair of Hockey East games over the weekend, earning her second shutout of the season on Thursday. The junior netminder from Natick, Mass stopped 33 shots in the win over Connecticut and made 54 saves on the weekend for .931 save percentage.
Schaus and the Eagles are back in action Friday as they take on the visiting Princeton Tigers on November 28 at 12 p.m. The Eagles resume Hockey East play on Sunday against Northeastern at home at 2 p.m.
