Brooke Knowlton Earns All-ACC Tournament Honors

Chestnut Hill, MA - Boston College sophomore forward Brooke Knowlton was named to the 2008 ACC All-Tournament team as announced by the conference on Sunday. Boston College advanced to the semifinal round, before bowing out on Friday in a 2-0 loss to No. 1 seed and eventual champion, North Carolina.
Knowlton scored the game-winning goal in the Eagles 1-0 quarterfinal victory over Duke on Thursday in Cary, North Carolina. Knowlton scored at 13:14 in the game, giving her five game-winning goals in 2008.
This season Knowlton has played in 20 games and started 17. She has scored in eight games and the Eagles are 8-0 when Knowlton notches a point. She currently leads BC in scoring with eight goals and two assists for 18 points. Knowlton also leads the Eagles in shots taken with 54.
Knowlton is the first Boston College player to be named to the ACC Tournament team.
