Ritchie Leads Men's Cross Country To Fourth Place Finish

ORONO, Maine - Senior Timothy Ritchie placed second overall to pace the Boston College men's cross country team to a fourth place finish at the Murray Keatinge Invitational on October 4. Classmate David Emerson finished 13th overall.
Ritchie finished the five mile course in just 24:34.48 while Emerson crossed in 25:30.70.
Yale and New Hampshire finished second and third, respectively, while Dartmouth won the team title.
Sophomore Ryan Kiracofe finished 23rd overall with a time of 25:40.24 while senior Patrick Viklund placed 37th at 26:11.31.
Other finishers for the Eagles included junior Justin Wheat (40th/26:21.10), senior James LaGreca (44th/26:30.87), sophomors Philip Woerner (46th/26:40.33), Theodore Doyle (50th/26:52.72), and Michael Keebler (54th/27:01.32), senior Brendan Collins (61st/27:29.02), and freshmen Andrew MacIsaac (71st/28:17.41) and Ian Thomas (72nd/28:29.50).
The Eagles will compete in the New England Championship next Saturday which will be held at Franklin Park. Start time is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
