Men's Tennis Wraps Up Fall Competition at Seahawk Invitational

Wilmington, N.C. - The Boston College Men's Tennis team had a strong showing at the Seahawk Invitational hosted by UNC-Wilmington in North Carolina over the weekend.
In the Men's Flight A Doubles, the team of junior Thomas Nolan and sophomore Erik Kreutzer defeated all challengers to win the Flight A Doubles Title.
In the Men's Flight C Doubles, the sophomore pairing of Brendon Wong and Brian Locklear advanced to the finals of the their flight.
In singles competition, a strong showing was made by Akash Muppidi and Alex Skinner.
Muppidi defeated three opponents to earn a spot in the Flight 2-A Singles Final before being defeated in the in the Final.
Skinner also had a strong showing for the Eagles, advancing to the Semi Finals of the Flight B-2 Singles draw before being defeated by Stephan Whitwell of Eastern Carolina.
The Seahawk Invitational was the last fall competition in the Men's Tennis schedule, they will being team competition against Brown University January 19, at 10:00 a.m. against Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
