Men's Cross Country Competes In Mayor's Cup

BOSTON, Mass. - Sophomore Theodore Doyle finished fifth overall to pace the Boston College men's cross country team to a first place finish at the Mayor's Cup on Sunday in Franklin Park. All eight Eagle runners placed in the top 20.
Doyle ran the 5k course 16:21 for his fifth place finish. Junior Brian Hughes crossed the line right after Doyle with a time of 16:29 for sixth.
Sophomore Andrew MacIsaac finished in ninth overall with a time of 16:36 while senior Brendan Collins came in 10th, crossing the line in 16:40.
Sophomore Ian Thomas clocked a time of 16:47 which put him in 13th pace while senior Patrick Carey registered a time of 17:00 to place 15th.
Junior Kevin Floster placed 18th with a time of 17:05.
The Eagles return to action on Saturday, November 1 when they travel to Chapel Hill, N.C. to compete in the 2008 ACC Championship.
