Lana Krasnopolsky and Katarina Gajic Win at USTA National Invitational

Flushing Meadows, N.Y. - Boston College Women's Tennis traveled to New York over the weekend for the USTA Women's College Invitational at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
Senior Lana Krasnopolsky and freshman Katarina Gajic both won in their singles flight draws. Krasnopolsky was triumphant in the Women's Flight One series and Gajic took top honors for the Women's Flight Four series.
Gajic and partner Alina Sullivan were also finalists in the Flight Two Doubles Draw.
Krasnopolsky is the the #10 ranked player in the East and a two-time All-ACC Conference team selection. Coming into her freshman year, Gajic participated in two ITA summer circut tournaments and was a champion in one and a finalist in another.
Women's Tennis continues their singles fall season at the ITA Regional Championships at the University of Pennsylvania in Philidelphia October 24-28.
