Men's Fencing Captures Four Wins In Northeast Conference

CHESTNUT HILL, MA - The men's fencing team completed a successful weekend at the Northeast Fencing Conference competition this past weekend. Boston College went 4-1 with victories over Brown (19-8), MIT (15-12), Dartmouth (19-8) and Vassar (21-6). The Eagles only loss came against conference champion, Brandeis, 15-12.
The Eagles men's sabre squad led the way, posting 35 wins against 10 losses, including a 9-0 run against Brown to start the day.
Junior Ian Griswold was 13-1 while sophomore Malcolm Conley went 11-3 and sophomore William Baker finished the day at 10-4.
In epee, senior Sam Richardson went 12-2 and in foil senior Sean Hickey was 7-4.
