Men's Swimming Falls to Tufts

MEDFORD, Mass. - Freshman John Maloy took first place in three events, but it was not enough as the men's swimming team fell to Tufts, 191-152.
Maloy placed first in the 1,000 freestyle (9:59.33) and 500 freestyle (4:51.33) distance events. He also earned first in the 200 medley (1:59.30) to round out three individual victories.
Brett Bromann topped the 200 backstroke in a time of 1:58.74. The freshman finished the event nearly three seconds ahead of the closest competitor
The Eagles are now 5-5 on the season, 0-1 in the ACC.
The next meet is against Massachusetts on Saturday, Jan. 18 in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
