CHESTNUT HILL, MA - No. 8 Boston College will host cross-town rival Boston University on Wednesday, Sept.12 (4 p.m.) at the Newton Soccer Field on the Newton Campus. The Eagles are now 3-0 on the season and coming off a tough 2-1 victory over Harvard on Sunday afternoon.
Boston University is now 2-2 on the season and ranked fifth in the NSCAA Northeast region poll. The two teams met twice last season with BU capturing the season opener, 1-0, on August 25 at Nickerson Field. In the second match between the two rivals, Boston College cruised to a 3-0 victory in the first round of the NCAA tournament behind two goals from Kia McNeill.
