Men's Track Runs At ACC Championships

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Men's Track and Field team traveled to University of Maryland this past weekend.
In the 800 meter run, junior Frank DiVittorio just missed the eight-man final by finishing ninth out of 32 runners with a qualifying time of 1:51.29.
Sophomore David Emerson finished 11th out of 27 runners in the 10000 meter distance race with a time of 30:50.60.
In the 1500 meter event BC sent two runners, junior Patrick Mellea and junior Jeremy Zagorski, into the finals after excellent qualifying runs. In the 12-man final, Mellea took 6th and Zagorski took 8th, both earning team points for the Eagles.
In the end, the Eagles finished in 12th place in the event won by Florida State.
