Eagle Runners Achieve In The Classroom

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Junior Patrick Mellea and Sophomore Mallory Champa have been named to the NCAA Division I Cross-Country individual All-Academic Team, as voted by the United States Track and Field College Coaches Association (USTFCCA).

Mellea, who gained fame last month for breaking the school record in the mile, is a Finance major. Mellea was named to the cross-country All-Regional team for the East Region.

Champa majors in Elementary Education and Theology. She was also named to the All-Regional team, as well as the All-American team.
