"Perrie Finsand, who is really stepping up her skiing at this point in the season, had another great finish in the slalom," head coach Peter Endres said. "I was also very pleased with Kara Hoisington, who had her best result of the season. Having four skiers in the top ten was a great team accomplishment. In the GS, again I was very pleased to have three skiers place in the top five, including both Ashley La Cavalla and Courtney Culnane, who had their best results of the season. Courtney Willson had two very solid days, showing her consistency. Kara Hoisington also had her best GS result of the season in 15th."
The Eagles now sit in a tie for first place in the ECSC with Colby-Sawyer College. Boston College earned two points this weekend to bring its total to 16, while Colby-Sawyer College took five points.
"I am very proud of the team's skiing this weekend. With two wins, the women could not have performed better as a team. These wins brought us into a tie for first place in the overall MacConnell Division standings, a terrific position to be in going into our own Carnival next weekend."
The women's ski team returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 10 for the Boston College Carnival in Ascutney, VT.
