Soccer Buzz Honors Four Boston College Soccer Players

CHESTNUT HILL, MA - The Boston College women's soccer team was well represented on the All-America teams as announced by Soccer Buzz today.
Senior Kia McNeill, a native of Avon, CT, was named to the All-America third-team. A four-year starter McNeill played in 86 consecutive games. She notched one goal and one assist this season, after moving to the back line at midseason. McNeill was a key to the Eagles defense as it was ranked sixth in the country in Goals-Against-Average (0.475). She was a NSCAA/adidas All-Northeast Regional second-team honoree and was recently named to the Soccer Buzz All-Northeast Regional first-team.
Hannah Cerrone, a native of Wappingers Falls, NY, was named to the Soccer Buzz All-Freshman All-America first-team. The Eagles defender was recently named the Soccer Buzz Northeast Freshman of the Year. Cerrone also made the Soccer America All-Freshman second-team, All-ACC Freshman Team and the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association second team.
Freshman forward Brooke Knowlton, a native of Rexford, NY, was named to the Soccer Buzz All-America third-team. Knowlton led the Eagles in scoring with five goals for 10 points this past season.
Chelsea Regan, a freshman midfielder, was also named to the Soccer Buzz All-America third-team. Regan, a native of Raritan, NJ, finished the season with two goals and two assists for six points.
