CHESTNUT HILL, MA - The Boston College women's basketball team has been ranked 11th in the Atlantic Coast Conference preseason poll, as determined by a vote of the media and the ACC women's basketball media day and the conference head coaches and sports information directors.

Boston College head coach Cathy Inglese returns two starters and seven letterwinners from last year's team. The Eagles finished with a 13-16 overall record and 3-11 in the ACC.

Maryland was selected as the top preseason pick in the conference followed by No. 2 North Carolina and No. 3 Duke.
