ATLANTA, Ga. - The Boston College volleyball team fell victim to a three-game sweep at the hands of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Saturday evening.
BC now owns a 10-12 overall record, 4-8 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The win improves the Yellow Jackets to 7-4 in the ACC, 13-8 overall.
The Eagles dropped game-one, 30-22. BC battled in both games two and three, which totaled 18 ties, but dropped the games, 33-31 and 30-28.
Kelsey Johnson registered her 10th double-double of the season, totaling 12 kills and 11 digs. Audrey Eichler and Taylor Williams each connected on 12 kills apiece in the loss.
Dani Moskitis dished out a team-high 39 assists, while Cathy Quilico recorded 12 digs for the Eagles.
BC is back on the court, Friday, Oct. 26 when the Duke Blue Devils visit Chestnut Hill, Mass. Game time is scheduled for 8 p.m.
