"We struggled today," head coach Peter Endres said on Saturday. "Many of our women struggled to find the finish line. Conditions were tough, but I'm hoping they'll rebound with a strong performance tomorrow."
In Sunday's slalom race, sophomore Courtney Willson finished second with a total time of 1 minute 14.02 seconds, freshman Perrie Finsand placed fourth with a time of 1:14.77, and sophomore Ashley La Cavalla took sixth in 1:16.70. I am also really pleased by the performances of Perrie Finsand and Ashley La Cavalla. Today we had seven BC women in the top fourteen. I think this really shows the depth we have on our team and what we're capable of when we all finish."
The Eagles now sit in second place in the ECSC, with one more point than conference-leading Colby/Sawyer College.
The women's ski team returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 27 for the Colby/Sawyer College Carnival in Pat's Peak, N.H.
