Gimpel proceeded to score her first two collegiate goals in the 8-0 victory over Holy Cross.
STEPPING UP: Sophomore midfielder Caitlin Burke took the field at the start of the game as the Eagles faced Holy Cross. It was the first start of the season for Burke and the Austin, Texas native made the most of her opportunity as she earned an assist in the 8-0 victory. Burke earned her second start of the season on Wednesday as she helped the Eagles to a 4-2 win over URI. She set up the fourth goal of the night off a corner kick and now has three assists on the young season. Burke has added a little punch to the offense that has 12 goals in the last two games.
