Softball Set to Face NC State in ACC Tournament

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The eighth-seeded Boston College softball team is set to face No. 1 seed NC State in the ACC tournament on Thursday, May 11 at 3:00 p.m. The tournament is being held at the University of North Carolina's Anderson Stadium in Chapel Hill, N.C. The Eagles enter the contest with an overall record of 22-24 and 6-15 in ACC play. The No. 24 Wolfpack are 44-18 and 14-6 in the ACC.
This meeting will mark the fourth time this season the Eagles and Wolfpack have met on the playing field. Earlier in the season the Wolfpack took the three-game series in Raleigh, N.C.
The winner of the Boston College-NC State game will face the winner of the Georgia Tech-Florida State game at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 12.
Thursday's game will be available via Gametracker. Sunday's championship game will be carried locally on NESN. The game will also be carried on FSN South, Comcast Sportsnet and Fox Sports Florida.
