
Men's Tennis Defeats Holy Cross, 7-0

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College men's tennis team earned its second consecutive sweep by taking down Holy Cross, 7-0 in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
Alex Rastorgouev and Michael Reiser began the match with an 8-0 doubles win. Jason Sechrist and Brian Hartness teamed for an 8-2 decison and Geoff Mueller and Dennis Reardon finished off the doubles sweep with an 8-1 victory.
Brian Hartness earned his first No. 1 singles win of the year, taking down John Deaver, 6-3, 6-0. Rastorgouev grabbed a win at No. 2, while Reardon and Mueller picked up convincing decisions at No. 5 and No. 6. Reiser and Sam Wagner both gained shutouts to give the Eagles the 7-0 win.
BC will face Florida State in the first round of the ACC Championships on Thursday.
