Women's Lacrosse Set for ACC Tournament

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The women's lacrosse team is set to play No. 6 Maryland in the Atlantic Coast Conference quarterfinals on Thursday, April 27, at 5:00 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md. The 8-7 Eagles earned the fifth seed and will match up against the fourth-seeded Terrapins.
The Eagles recently took on the 'Terps at home at the Newton Campus field on Saturday, April 22. Despite taking an early 5-2 lead, the Eagles eventually lost to No. 6 Maryland, 13-11. BC finished 1-4 in conference play.
Freshman Margot Spatola led the Eagles with three goals while senior tri-captain Elizabeth Kadison tallied a team-high four points on two goals and two assists.
Kadison continues to lead the Eagles in points on 28 goals and 12 assists on the season. Spatola leads the Eagles in goals scored (29) and ground balls (35).
Thursday's ACC tournament appearance will be the Eagles first in their inaugural season in the conference. The championship on Sunday, April 30, will be aired on the New England Sports Network (NESN) at 1 p.m.
