La Jolla, Calif - The Boston College men's tennis team continued its west coast swing, dropping a closely contested match to UC San Diego 5-2 in La Jolla, Calif.
Soma Kesthely and Jason Sechrist started the Eagles off with a win in No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-4. BC would lose the point, however, dropping the next two doubles matches.
Kesthely collected a win at No. 1 singles 6-3, 6-4 over Brent Molden, while freshman Michael Reiser grabbed the other win in singles, 6-3, 6-3 against Ramesh Thondapu.
BC will meet UC Riverside at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday in Riverside, Calif.
