
Women's Tennis Edged By Loyola Marymount 4-3

Los Angeles, Calif. - Freshman Dasha Cherkasov remained undefeated in singles play this season but the Boston College women's tennis team fell to Loyola Marymount 4-3 in Los Angeles, Calif.
Cherkasov defeated Robyn Baker 6-1, 6-2 for her seventh win in seven matches this year. Gia Nafarrete and Lana Krasnopolsky also picked up wins for the Eagles in singles play.
The deciding point came on doubles, where the Lions won two of the three matches to drop the No. 52 ranked Eagles to 5-2 on the year.
BC will next meet Cal-State Fullerton Monday at 2:00 p.m.
