Boston, Mass. - The Boston College women's track and field team had a strong appearance at the Boston University Five-Way Meet on Monday, February 6. The Eagles competed against Boston University, the University of New Hampshire, Providence College and Northeastern University.
Kara Musso sprinted to a third-place finish in the 55-meter dash, with a time of 7.67, while Tiana Riel placed fourth in the 200, clocking in at 26.22. Riel also placed third in the 55-meter hurdles, sprinting to a 8.65 finish and tied for first place in the high jump with a mark of 5-01.75 with Megan Labella of Boston University and Amy Roccio of UNH.
Alicia Henry placed second in the 500, crossing the line in 1:19.19. Jess Flinn placed fourth in the one-mile, while Kristen Coon and Anne Hessberg placed seventh and eighth, respectively.
Carolyn Rayburn tied for first place with Boston University's Jennifer Schwartz in the pole vault with a mark of 10 feet, seven inches.
The Eagles compete again on February 10 and 11 in Boston University's Valentine Classic.
