Men's Cross Country Ranked Fifth in Northeast

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College men's cross country is ranked fifth in the Northeast Region in the latest USTFCCCA poll which was released on October 2. The Eagles moved up to slots after placing third out of 20 schools at the Iona Meet of Champions last weekend. Iona is ranked first, while Providence, Dartmouth and Brown are second, third and fourth, respectively. Cornell, Syracuse, Columbia, New Hampshire and Harvard round out the top ten.
Boston College will look to improve on its ranking at the New England Championships this weekend at Franklin Park in Boston. The racing begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 7.
