WACHUSETT, MASS. - The Boston College men's ski team raced to a fourth-place finish at the Brown Carnival on Saturday, Jan. 28. BC placed two skiers in the top 12, and five Eagles placed in the top 25 (of 57 total entries).
Junior Greg Avallon finished 10th, posting a time of 1 minute 26.69 seconds in the slalom competition. Freshman Andrew Simmons finished 12th overall, finishing in 1:27.19.
"The men are skiing strong," head coach Peter Endres said. "At this point, we need to work mainly on consistency in finishing, especially in slalom. With that consistency, the team will be right up there vying for a win."

Colby/Sawyer leads the conference with seven total points. Plymouth State (nine points) and the University of Msasachusetts (10 points) lead the Eagles (14 points).
The men's ski team returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 4, at the MIT Carnival in Loon, N.H.
