
Women's Tennis Tabbed No. 75 in Preseason Poll

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College women's tennis team will begin the season ranked No. 75 according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association preseason poll, its highest start to the season since it began the 2000-01 campaign at No. 66.
Individually, Lana Krasnopolsky starts the season at No. 66 in the nation. The freshman had an impressive fall, capturing a 11-3 record in singles and partnering with Dasha Cherkasov and Szilvia Szegedi to earn a 8-5 record.
Nine other teams from the ACC make an appearance in the preseason national team rankings, No. 4 Georgia Tech, No. 10 Miami, No. 11 North Carolina, No. 14 Duke, No. 16 Clemson, No. 24 Wake Forest, No. 39 Maryland, No. 50 Florida State, No. 72 Virginia.
The Eagles start the season January 28 against Dartmouth in Hanover, N.H.
